If you need a 24/7 dedicated rep and PEO-level handholding, stick with ADP. If you want to run payroll yourself in 5 minutes on your phone, switch to MyCo.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MyCo really cheaper than ADP?

Yes — for most 50–500 person US SMBs, MyCo is 30–60% less than the equivalent ADP RUN tier when you add up payroll, HR, attendance, and CRM costs. ADP quotes vary, but our published pricing means no surprises.

Can MyCo handle multi-state payroll like ADP?

Yes. MyCo files in all 50 states, handles state-specific overtime rules (CA daily OT, NY paid leave, Texas franchise tax, etc.), and supports reciprocity for employees living and working in different states.

What happens to my YTD wages when I switch?

We import your year-to-date earnings, taxes withheld, and 401(k) contributions during onboarding. Year-end W-2s and 1099-NECs are generated correctly without double-counting.

Does MyCo replace ADP TotalSource (PEO)?

No. MyCo is not a PEO. If you currently use ADP TotalSource for co-employer benefits (Fortune 500-level health insurance, workers comp pooling), MyCo is not a direct replacement. We integrate with major health, dental, and 401(k) brokers instead.

How long does it take to switch from ADP?

Most 50–500 person teams complete the switch in 7–14 days, including a parallel test payroll. ADP cancellation requires 30 days notice in most contracts, so we recommend starting the switch 30–45 days before your next contract renewal.
